Meet the Artist... Coleman Shannon has always looked for ways to challenge his ability to teach himself new ways to showcase his talents. At a young 88 years, Coleman has found his "current" passion with stained glass art. This page shows examples of his craftsmanship. Many of the items shown are available for sale, or can be somewhat duplicated to meet your requirements. This beautiful stained glass window that Coleman created, featuring a hand painted picture of Jesus Christ praying in the Garden, was donated to Grace Baptist Church in Lexington. This window was donated in memory of Michael P. Shannon who died from complications of ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). Mike's picture is below with brother David. Also below is a picture of the stained glass hanging in the church office window.
